I’ve always had a passion for film and TV and it wasn’t until I discovered this course that I found out about the possibility of working on the more engineering/technical side of industry, which really appealed to me.

The university’s placement team was incredibly helpful and motivating throughout the entire process. Despite the setbacks, their unwavering belief and support were a massive reason I was able to acquire my placement.

From a young age, I always loved problem-solving and technology and so I knew I wanted to go into Engineering. This followed into secondary school where I greatly enjoyed computing and physics but specifically the circuitry topics so Electronic Engineering seemed like the perfect fit.

You get to enjoy access to state-of-the-art facilities, engage with like-minded peers and faculty members, and participate in extracurricular activities and networking events within the vibrant academic community.

The interactive nature of our classes encourages open discussions with our lecturers, offering a professional yet engaging approach to learning.

My favourite part of the course are the weekly practical sessions, where students are essentially put into a real-working environment, which I find the most efficient way of learning.
