I've had the privilege of making friends that I now consider as close as family, and I'm grateful to Surrey for providing me with the chance to continually connect with new people.

I enjoy my course so much and I feel super proud to be a vet student at Surrey.

My placement has had a hugely positive impact on my university experience, as it taught me to have more confidence in my ability to tackle challenges. I also developed key skills which are proving essential in my final year studies.

The staff and tutors at Surrey have been extremely supportive throughout my training. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a student and my confidence in my abilities has grown.

By getting me off to a flying start the Foundation Year has helped me settle into my first year more quickly.

A foundation year... was the perfect opportunity to ease into university life and try all the aspects of being at university.

I was drawn to the fact that students on this course use both the biosciences and veterinary medicine facilities. Not many other courses offered this and it was very beneficial in first year!

I was promoted whilst on placement to Rescue Network Coordinator which had me organising and leading seal rescue training events all over Ireland which I absolutely loved.
