As Unilever is a big company, I knew there would be a structured placement programme and lots of opportunities. In particular, given that I’ll be working with data, the availability and quality of the company’s data was a major concern for me.

The course offers flexibility around the optional modules, so I’ve been able to match to my career interests and aspirations.

I have changed since coming to Surrey, I have developed academically and feel more mature and independent.

I called Surrey and it was super easy – they told me immediately that I was in.

My university experience at Surrey has been amazing. I love my course and that it’s different.... There’s a lot of work, but I enjoy it. There was even a practical crime scene investigation (CSI) day, which was great fun!

For me, Clearing was one of the biggest days of my life and I definitely hadn’t taken enough time to prepare myself. If you’re in a position like I was, find someone you trust to help you through it and do in-depth research. It will be ok!

The lady I spoke to on Surrey’s Clearing hotline was more than helpful. She reassured me and I felt more positive about my grades.
