2021Why did you choose Guildford School of Acting at the University of Surrey?
I had always dreamed of going to GSA since I can remember! Almost every show I'd seen had so many GSA alumni in the cast I’d always aspired to train there. In 2019 I came to GSA for a summer school and absolutely loved it. The phenomenal teaching paired with the warm, personable atmosphere was a perfect match with what I wanted out of a drama school.
What's your favourite memory?
I have so many memories over my three years but my favourite has to be doing my third year show ‘High Spirits’. Spending five weeks rehearsing with an incredible creative team to create a show that we absolutely loved was an experience I’ll treasure forever! It was amazing to work so professionally alongside my year group and to see our development from the start of our training.
What's your advice for current students?
Enjoy every second! It really does feel like my three years have gone by in a flash so I’d really encourage anyone starting their training to soak up every second! The beauty of GSA is how much they push you outside of the box which you put yourself in, so explore every opportunity that is given to you. Be bold, make mistakes and trust that you can absolutely do it!
