Research and Innovation Skills Training and Capacity Building
Focus 3
Overview
Research and Innovation Training
Collaborating with the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Clinical Research Network (KSS CRN) and the Health Determinants Research Collaborative to develop a comprehensive suite of research and innovation training and resources. These offerings, designed to equip system partners with essential tools and knowledge, will be delivered through the Surrey Heartlands Academy, reinforcing the initiative’s commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and advancement in Health and Social Care research and innovation across the region.
Capacity Building
In partnership with KSS Health Innovation Network (HiN) a series of roundtable discussions with system partners to enhance strategic thinking in the AI domain. These discussions aim to develop actionable advice for the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Surrey Council on maximizing Surrey's potential to harness innovation and research benefits in health and care. The initiative will draw on insights from key thought leaders to formulate a comprehensive roadmap, strategy, and recommendations for board consideration, ensuring that the region is well-positioned to leverage technological advancements.
