Soft Matter, Biological and Medical Physics Group

The group’s experimental research spans research at the interface with biology - biological-physics, bionanotechnology and synthetic biology - experimental soft matter physics with a sustainability focus, and experimental research in both detector and materials physics, for medical and security applications. The modelling research is conducted mostly in collaboration with experimentalists, both within the group to drive leading-edge biological physics and with international and industrial partners working on magnetic resonance with particular emphasis on sustainability applications.
