Our research
The Habit Application and Theory group (HabitAT) members conduct cutting-edge, real-world research in applied habit psychology.
Habit:
- A behavior pattern acquired by frequent repetition … that shows itself in regularity or increased facility of performance (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)
- A thing that you do often and almost without thinking, especially something that is hard to stop doing (Oxford English Dictionary)
- An action … that someone does repeatedly and finds it difficult to stop doing (Collins Dictionary)
What we are researching
We use a broad range of methods to deliver theoretical, methodological and empirical research insights across various behaviours.
