Long courses

The Centre for Translation Studies is offering stand-alone translation courses which are based on the modules part of our MA programmes. On the courses we provide ample opportunity for reflection and practice under the guidance of professional translators, interpreters and research-active academics who are at the forefront of their respective fields.

How to apply

Step 1: Apply via this form (where you are typically asked to upload your CV, academic and language qualifications and to respond to a few brief questions about yourself) 

Step 2: Purchase the course(s) in the online store.

Entry requirements 

  1. You need to be fluent in English as you will be required to process texts and discuss practice and/or concepts in detail (IELTS level 6.5 overall, or equivalent) 
  2. You should have a first degree

Stag Hill is the University's main campus and where the majority of our courses are taught. There is no online option at present.
