Once I had seen how powerful food could be on health and wellbeing, I wanted to learn more and help others with their own nutrition.

The multidisciplinary nature of the course helps to facilitate really interesting discussions with people from a variety of backgrounds, both culturally and academically.

I chose Surrey because of its beautiful, friendly campus and its high quality of teaching - especially in psychology.

Management masters student Don Wong came from the University of Surrey where he studied Media and Communication as an undergraduate. In his final term at Surrey, he had the opportunity to visit the School of Knowledge and School of Knowledge Economy and Management (SKEMA) campus in Paris. Surrey Business School and SKEMA have joined forces again from 2024 to offer a dual masters in Management to their Management students, accredited by both institutions.

As Surrey caters for international students and offers this programme by distance learning, this was a perfect fit.

My first placement was in a surgical short stay at a hospital in Guildford. It was fantastic! I went into theatre on three occasions and the surgeons talked through everything they were doing. It was a real eye-opener.
