By getting me off to a flying start the Foundation Year has helped me settle into my first year more quickly.

A foundation year... was the perfect opportunity to ease into university life and try all the aspects of being at university.

As soon as I arrived at Surrey, I knew I had made the right choice: it was very quickly my home away from home.

I would definitely recommend a placement year to anyone in a position to take one!... I have no doubt that my placement year was key to me securing my graduate role with a top employer as I was able to evidence a range of skills and experience that I developed over the year.

The course is well structured, and the modules are taught by experienced research academics who are actively involved in corporate finance and corporate governance.

I can truly say that Surrey has shaped me into the adult that I am today.

Surrey has become my home away from home.
