My career and achievements

Rebecca is a Director who began her career with DTZ Investors in 2007 during her placement year at the University of Surrey. She manages investments into both listed and unlisted indirect real estate both on a discretionary and advisory basis for a range of clients including pension funds and charities.

Rebecca is the Fund Manager of a UK fund of funds and oversees all UK indirect investments on behalf of DTZ Investors. Rebecca is a non-executive member of the UK Association for Real Estate Funds Board where she champions the needs of investors and helps to shape the future of the real estate fund industry.

Rebecca’s core competencies are in the management of indirect property portfolios. She has a range of experience including developing investment strategies for investors; implementing investment strategy through sourcing, negotiating and underwriting new issuance and secondary market transactions; conducting fund due diligence; and trading, redemptions and fund liquidations.

Rebecca knows the challenges of being a full time working Mum in the City so has set up informal support groups both within her business as well as in the wider real estate industry.

Rebecca is a passionate volunteer for the Pelvic Partnership (https://pelvicpartnership.org.uk/) after she experienced two very challenging pregnancies with severe pelvic girdle pain (PGP) resulting in her being confined to a wheelchair. PGP affects up to half of all pregnancies and is easily (and often quickly when promptly) treated with hands on manual therapy – sadly a treatment which is not widely available on the NHS. The condition which can range from being mild to severe, is widely dismissed by many medical professionals which can have devastating impacts mentally, physically and emotionally. The charity is small, run by volunteers and has no government funding.

Rebecca is a graduate from the University of Surrey with a BSc (Hons) in Economics. She holds the Investment Management Certificate and is a Certified Person under the FCA.
