My career and achievements

Omar has been coached by some of the World’s top businessmen and life coaches from a young age. During his second year of Mechanical Engineering studies at the University of Surrey, he attended life coaching events for Robert Kiyosaki (author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad), Tony Robbins (coached Bill Clinton, Oprah, Leonardo Dicaprio, etc.), and Jordan Belfort (The Wolf of Wall Street)

By the end of his role as Chief of Staff, Omar pitched a real estate business idea to Alex Hall, which was to get investors to invest in real estate in Hull, the recipient of the City of Culture at the time with promising capital growth and higher than usual ROIs. After successfully sourcing residential projects to acquire and investors, Alex and Omar, proceeded with the first project and turned it into student accommodation. Bringing foreign investment into the UK and contributing to the growth of Hull’s economy, they got invited by the MP of East Hull to the House of Parliament. This was Omar’s first take at entrepreneurship and Alex remains a close life mentor.

Omar has now embarked on a new journey focusing on fintech and real-time payment data in emerging markets. He launched Zeal in 2019 to introduce mobile payments with integrated loyalty to the Egyptian market. It started off as a loyalty app and gradually introduced mobile payments. He is currently focused on scaling this project, putting together a competitive dream team that is impact driven.
