2015Dominique is a barrister at Deka Chambers, who specialises in personal injury, travel law, clinical negligence and inquests.
Dominique is ranked in the Legal 500, Chambers and Partners, and Who’s Who Legal: UK Bar 2024 across several practice areas, including: inquests and inquiries, travel law, personal injury, clinical negligence and aviation. She is described as “an excellent advocate who is quick on her feet and provides exceptional client care skills” (Chambers and Partners 2024) and is noted for her “incredible grasp on the intricate details of a case” (Legal 500 2024). She is often instructed by claimants and defendants in complex, high-profile cases.
Dominique is also a co-author of the leading travel law textbook, Saggerson on Travel Law and Litigation (7th Edition) and has authored ‘A Practical Guide to Cross-Border Clinical Negligence Claims’.
Alongside her work, Dominique is an elected member of the Inner Temple’s Bar Liaison Committee (BLC) and a committee member of the Inns of Court Alliance for Women (ICAW). She also spends time mentoring students wishing to pursue a career at the Bar.
Prior to gaining pupillage, Dominique was awarded the Inner Temple Duke of Edinburgh Entrance Award and was a Major Exhibition Award winner. She was called to the Bar in 2016.
