Alex is the Chief Operating Officer for RAI Digital, a KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) headquartered regional venture builder and ecosystem enabler he co-founded in 2021, where he leads the international operations for the business and drives the talent agenda, building a world-class national workforce. As a venture builder, RAI Digital partners with Governments or Corporates to solve complex challenges through building new businesses together.
One such venture is Infinite Platforms for Logistics (Infinite pl), where Alex was part of the founding team for the business. A Joint Venture between SPL (formally known as Saudi Post) and RAI Digital, Infinite pl is a product, data and technology company on a mission to disrupt logistics globally from it’s HQ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As Chief Operating Officer, Alex leads several enterprise functions including strategy, innovation, talent and enterprise operations.
Alex has worked with Governments across the Middle East and UK, prior to his current roles, Alex was a Partner with EY based in the Middle East where he co-founded and built the EY Growth Solutions innovation & digital business unit, focused on asset-based consulting and building digital products for private and public organizations as part of digital transformation programs.
Alex is passionate about driving social and economic growth in the Middle East and has worked with dozens of start-ups to help them innovate & grow. His experience includes the design, launch and operations of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Innovation Fund (MBRIF) Accelerator where he served as Managing Director, leading incubation and acceleration programs and speaking at regional and global conferences to highlight the potential for start-ups in the Middle East region.
Alex has a deep passion for people, having designed and led strategic talent programs throughout his career, as well as being a master facilitator and coach in a number of international leadership and talent development programs.
