  • 2023. Fabio Fasoli was interviewed by PsyPost about a recent paper on voice-based perception of sexual orientation
  • 2023. Fabio Fasoli participated in an event organised by UCL for International Women’s Day titled ‘How does social media portray women’s health?’
  • 2023. Fabio Fasoli was invited to deliver a talk on voice-based discrimination in the hiring context for The Walt Disney Company in London
  • 2023. Fabio Fasoli was interviewed about his research on the ‘gay voice’ stereotype for the QueerLit podcast
  • As part of their ESRC IAA funding, Aífe Hopkins-Doyle and Harriet Tenenbaum developed a website with resources for teachers, which is https://www.teachgenderequality.org/ 
  • 2021. Research conducted by Francesca Guizzo in collaboration with Fabio Fasoli on the role of Instagram consumption in women’s body dissatisfaction was featured in several media outlets (view press release), for example: Daily mail, Die Welt, Vanity Fair Italy
  • 2021. Online Discussion: Body Image, Body Positivity and Humour. Dr Fasoli has organised an online discussion based on findings of his project on humour and body image. Prof Jane Ogden, professor of Health Psychology, and Mr Stephen Bell, co-founder of Portrait Positive, took part in this online discussion.
  • 2021. Research showing that gay men who ‘sound gay’ are target of stigma and discrimination from heterosexual peers has received media attention (view press release): Daily Mail, Pink News, LGBT Nation, New York Post, NBC News
  • 2021: Aífe spoke about her research as part of the I'm a Scientist, Get me out of here event organised by the British Psychological Society. The event aims to show students how psychologists work and research real world problems.

  • 2020: Aífe presented her work with the Global Equality Collective (GEC) on their education app for Gender Equality.
