Sustainability Week 2025 schedule launched
Sustainable Surrey has joined forces with the Students’ Union and Institute for Sustainability to bring back Sustainability Week, this time featuring local organisations Zero Carbon Guildford, Phyllis Tuckwell and Sustain Film Festival!
All staff and students are invited to get involved with activities throughout the week, 31 March – 4 April 2025. Highlights include:
- Sustainability Assembly: sustainable procurement in 05 AC 03 (Monday 31 March, 1:00pm – 3:00pm) – Find out more about the University’s new sustainable procure plan, and tangible actions you can take to support. Book your free ticket.
- Surrey Community Garden launch (Tuesday 1 April, 12:00pm – 2:00pm) – Plant the first seeds of the year at the University’s Community Garden and find out more about this exciting project. Sign up to a slot.
- Phyllis Tuckwell pop-up shop in Rubix (Thursday 3 April, 10am – 4pm) – Grab a second-hand bargain at Phyllis Tuckwell’s first shop at the University!

Sustainability Week is just one way the university is embedding the UN sustainable development goals into everything it does. The activities held during Sustainability Week will cover all 17 SDGs, including SDG 13 - climate action.
