Professor Emily Farran receives the 2024 BPS Developmental Psychology Section Impact and Engagement Award

Professor Farran won this award for her research and public engagement activities where she has championed that spatial training and a ‘spatialised’ curriculum can increase children’s mathematics competence, and in the long-term make a difference to addressing the current STEM skills shortage.
