New annual Sustainability Report unveils Surrey's achievements and commitments
The University of Surrey's Annual Sustainability Report (2023-2024) highlights its continued drive to reduce carbon emissions and embed sustainability.
The report reflects on Surrey’s success in the THE impact ranking, placing in the top 5% of universities globally. The ranking measures institutions against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and emphasises Surrey’s commitment to delivering all 17 goals.
Along with ranking success, the report details the University’s continued drive to reach net zero carbon. The University has made significant progress against its 8-point plan, reducing scope 1 & 2 emissions by 19% in comparison to the baseline year.
