Expert comment: Net Zero is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for the UK economy

"The UK government estimates that the low-carbon sector could support up to 2 million jobs by 2050, with rapid growth in offshore wind, hydrogen, and battery production. This transformation will not only create employment in urban centres but also revitalise rural communities through new opportunities in sustainable infrastructure and technology. That is why we see an increased desire amongst young people and professionals to study and upskill in sustainability.
