Attendance at Royal Economics Society conference

We recently made a substantial contribution to the recent Royal Economics Society conference at the University of Sussex.

Jo Blanden, Laura Blow and Vasco Gabriel represented the School of Economics in the contributed sessions and Jonathan Swarbrick, a recent postgraduate research student, now working at the Bank of Canada, also presented. The majority of senior postgraduate research students also attended, a great testament to our thriving postgraduate research course.

This conference was the last to be organised by Surrey’s Professor Neil Rickman who is stepping down as Conference Secretary after a very successful six year term.
