Private Dining Room

The Private Dining Room is the most up to date, best value for money multi-use hireable space on campus. Located in the Rik Medlik building it is operated and managed by The Lakeside Restaurant.

The Private Dining Room is available to hire by internal and external clients. The hire of the Private Dining Room starts from £120. Please feel free to email us for a quote lakeside@surrey.ac.uk or alternatively fill out the online booking form.

The Private Dining Room is a 15-minute walk from Guildford train station and can host 10 - 50 guests depending on layout. Being operated by the Lakeside Restaurant all day catering is available.

The Private Dining Room is suitable for more than just meetings it is also perfect for assessments, away days, brainstorms, breakfast, lunches, interviews, training, workshops and dinners.

Next to the Private Dining Room is the Lakeside Restaurant which is the University of Surrey's flagship training facility for the International Hospitality Management program. As well as this we have our coffee shop on-site, which if you decide to not provide catering would allow your guests to buy refreshments.
