Covid-19 research

Our team is drawing on its extensive experience in air quality to support the fight against Covid-19. In collaboration with partners around the world, we are part of the international effort making a case for the recognition of airborne transmission.

Guildford Living Lab

Guildford Living Lab (GLL) is a platform for local communities, researchers, industrial companies and other stakeholders to tackle the issues of air pollution and climate change, and to co-create and co-design sustainable solutions.

Formed in 2016 as part of the H2020 iSCAPE (Improving the Smart Control of Air Pollution in Europe) project, GLL is now supported via a range of community activities and projects.

GLL takes a ‘citizen-science’ approach which brings communities together with councils and stakeholder organisations to work together on local issues. Since its launch, GLL has collaborated with partners in the local area to tackle many air pollution and climate change challenges.
