We are offering the UKRI standard stipend per year for full 3.5 years. In addition, a research, training and support grant of £3,000 over the project is also offered. Full home or overseas tuition fees (as applicable) will be covered.

Successful candidates will each receive a full tuition and bench fee waiver (if any applicable).CSC will provide each scholarship recipient with a living stipend (incl. medical insurance) as prescribed from time to time by the Chinese Government. CSC will also cover an international roundtrip airfare of economy class between China and the United Kingdom and will provide a one-off visa application fee reimbursement.

Awards cover UK tuition fees and provide a stipend at the UKRI rate.The UK fees and stipend for 2025/26 have not yet been announced but for the academic year of 2024/25 the UK fees are £4,786 and the stipend is £19,237 (£21,237 if London weighting applies).This competition-funded studentship is available to UK and International students and includes full UK or International fee waiver and stipend at UKRI rates.
