Come and join University Orchestra and Choir in Guildford's finest church for a concert of eastern promise and seduction: Rimsky-Korsakov's endlessly popular re-telling of the Scheherazade legend (including one of the most thrilling seascapes ever painted), together with Mozart's overture introducing the life and downfall of the great seducer, Don Giovanni. 

The concert includes a completely different view of the sea from Rachmaninov: his brief but dark 'Sea and the Seagulls' and the choir add gravitas performing movements from Fauré's Requiem, offering a different promise entirely.
