Shelly Dewhurst
Green Infrastructure Programme Manager, Bath & North EastSomerset Council
Biography
Shelly Dewhurst is the Green Infrastructure Programme Manager – Avon Corridor at Bath & North East Somerset Council. Along with the WaterSpace team, she works on a number of river-based improvement projects, including The Bath River Line - an urban regeneration project through Bath, WaterSpace Connected - a rural strategic green infrastructure project connecting to the neighbouring authorities, The Better Moorings Project, and water quality and flood resilience projects.
Dr Sisay Debele
Research Fellow, Global Centre for Clean Air Research, University of Surrey
Biography
Sisay has a PhD in Statistical Hydrology, two MSc degrees in Hydrology and Quantitative Water Management and Metorology Science. His research focuses on the interplay of climate change, non-stationary frequency analysis, application of probability and statistical models to hydrological design problems, multi-risk assessment, sustainable development and NBS modelling with applications to the fields of water resource engineering, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction (such as floods, droughts and heatwaves).
