Summer School: British Foreign Policy after Brexit
- Tuesday 13 June, 12 noon-5:30pm, LTL (Lecture Theatre L)
- Wednesday 14 June, 9:30am-5pm, LTM (Lecture Theatre M)
The summer school features contributions from several members of our Centre for Britain and Europe (CBE), including our founder Professor Amelia Hadfield. High-profile speakers from other institutions include: Professor Simon Usherwood (Open University and CBE research associate), Professor Richard Whitman (University of Kent and Chatham House), Professor Sarah Wolff (Queen Mary University), Professor Christopher Hill (University of Cambridge) and Professor Gianfranco Baldini (University of Bologna and CBE research associate). We will cover topics such as: Global Britain After Brexit, UK-EU relations, European Security and Cooperation.
The summer school is free to attend but you need to book a place online.
We are particularly keen to welcome undergraduates, postgraduates and PhD researchers, from our Surrey community and other universities.

Award criteria
The travel grants (up to a maximum of £100 each) are intended to support attendance at the summer school for self-funded students in doctoral training (PhD students) currently based in the UK and whose research interests are directly related to the content of the summer school. Successful applicants will be notified by email.
