Abstract

In this seminar, three students who undertook a Professional Training Year in the 2020/21 academic year will be describing statistical processes and investigations that they were involved with during their placements. The students were on placement in: a company supplying gases to industry; a data marketing partnership and a pharmaceutical company.

This session will be relevant and interesting to you if you are keen to pursue a career involving statistics or data science, or if you are currently in year 1 or 2 and are thinking of doing a placement.
