Qual-AI

Fostering appropriate use of AI in qualitative analysis.

The use of AI

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) for qualitative data analysis (QDA) has received increasing interest recently as a result of the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) and how Generative-AI (Gen-AI) is being harnessed - by researchers, teachers, and tools.

These developments raise new possibilities and also methodological and ethical issues for the practice of QDA.

There can be misinformation and excitement surrounding these developments. We are receiving calls for information, advice, training, and resources on the topic from those who are excited about the potential and those who are concerned.

Please see our high-quality resources about Qualitative-AI (Qual-AI) technologies and their appropriate uses.
