Congratulations on receiving an offer from the University of Surrey!

What will happen on results day 

If you’re holding a conditional offer and have made Surrey your firm or insurance choice, you can find out if your place has been confirmed on UCAS Hub or Surrey Self-Service. We’ll also send you an email and/or text message with our decision.  

Emails will be sent to students with confirmed places shortly after A-level and main results are released on Thursday 15 August. This will include guidance on what to do next and will let you know if there are any remaining tasks in Surrey Self-Service

If you’re waiting for results due in late August

If you’re waiting for results (e.g. GCSEs on Thursday 22 August), please make sure you upload those results to Surrey Self-Service as soon as you receive them.   

The standard deadline to meet the conditions of your offer is 4 September

If your course has an earlier deadline, you’ll have been notified of this alternative date. If it looks like you might not meet this deadline, please contact our Admissions team on +44 (0)1483 682222.

There are a few tasks that you need to complete before we send you joining instructions. Please ensure that you check the ‘Tasks’ section in Surrey Self-Service and make sure that all of the tasks, including ‘Confirm your fee status’ are shaded green, indicating that they have been completed. Joining instructions will be sent via email within 10 working days of your offer changing to ‘unconditional’. The joining instructions will provide you with details regarding your online initial registration, which will need to be completed before attending our main registration event during Welcome Week.
