Our research and innovation is making a difference. The Centre of Excellence on Ageing (CEA) is committed to generating high-quality research that tackles some of the biggest global challenges of today and makes an impact to the lives of people in our local community, across the UK and around the world.

The CEA will embrace Surreys heritage in supporting entrepreneurs, investors, companies and partners through the creation of new businesses, industries and innovations.

Impact

The CEA is commited to making a lasting impact to benefit society. One way this is done is through University Impact Acceleration Accounts which supports the knowledge exchange and to bridge the gap between UKRI funded research.

Over 20 individual impact projects related to ageing have been carried out since 2019.
