Surrey Business School Hall of Fame inductees are individuals that have made an outstanding contribution to the life or development of the School or who, as members of staff or alumni, have achieved significant success.

Hall of Fame

The Surrey Business School Hall of Fame inducted its first nominee in 2025 and we are proud to celebrate the achievements of those who have made a strong contribution to the life and development of the School or who, as our alumni or staff, have had a significant impact in their field, work or communities. 

Inductees are nominated by staff or alumni, and the decision is ratified by the Dean and University.

Meet our Hall of Fame inductees

Brian Allison

Brian Allison

Brian Allison is the first inductee into the Surrey Business School Hall of Fame following an impactful career as a business leader and non-executive director, and a lifelong commitment to supporting University of Surrey students to achieve their full potential in business. 

Brian’s connection with the University began in 1974 as an industry adviser to the Honours Degree in Engineering. He became a Visiting Professor in 1976 and taught engineering students marketing and business alongside various advisory roles. His association with Surrey Business School began in 2014 and shortly after he was invited to be the Founding Chair of the Surrey Business School Advisory Board. Brian has supported Surrey students through prizes and scholarships and in 2018 was bestowed an honorary doctorate in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the University as well as his impactful career in business.
