Surrey Weekender Reunion

Surrey Weekender tickets cost £75 and include:

• Welcome drink and your choice of fish and chips, grill, or paella and a sweet treat by the lake on Friday evening. Cash bars will be available at the lake and the Students’ Union.
• Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday for guests staying overnight in campus accommodation.
• Vice-Chancellor's Drinks Reception on Saturday early evening
• Gala Dinner on Saturday night. A welcome drink and three-course meal is provided, and a cash bar will be available.
• The ‘Big Night Out’ at Rubix (the Students' Union) on Saturday night where you’ll enjoy DJs and dancing until late.
• Free parking for the weekend on campus.
• Complimentary swimming and gym access at Surrey Sports Park  
• £5 from each ticket sold will donated to the Forever Surrey Fund which supports students facing unexpected hardship.

Campus accommodation is available and can be added to your booking at £58 per night (including breakfast) per single room.

If you wish to book multiple guest tickets/bedrooms, please book separately by clicking on the link above a second time to purchase your additional guest ticket/s. Each person’s ticket/accommodation booking must be purchased separately please.

En-suite accommodation is being offered on our Stag Hill campus. Each room is single occupancy, complete with duvet and pillow. Rooms also include your own private ensuite shower and toilet, a spacious desk, mirror and on campus Wi-Fi. A welcome tray with mini-toiletries, bottle of water and coffee and tea making supplies is provided in the room. Breakfast in our Hillside Restaurant is included.

Our communal kitchens will also be open, where you will find a kettle, fridge and space to hang out and catch up with friends. 

Cost: £58.00 per single room per night including breakfast.

Unfortunately, we only have a very limited number of double rooms available, and we are therefore reserving these for people with special requirements who would otherwise be unable to attend, such as people with physical disabilities.

As far as possible, we will try and allocate friendship groups accommodation together. To help us, please specify who you would like to share with via our online booking form at the point of registering to attend the Weekender.

Alternatively, once all members of your party have registered and paid for their tickets and accommodation, one member should email us with the full list of names and we will try to allocate appropriately. 

We're offering free parking on campus for the weekend. We’ll let you know nearer the time how to register your number plate for complimentary parking.

Yes, that is possible. Please speak to the Alumni team at alumni@surrey.ac.uk to let us know what you would like to do and we will help with arrangements.

Whilst you’re in town, there are plenty of opportunities to visit old haunts, take in a show or go for a self-guided walk in the beautiful countryside. Check out Visit Guildford and Experience Guildford for lots of inspiration!

The Surrey Weekender has been designed with adults in mind. The Friday evening welcome event and Hari's bar, Saturday alumni dinner and the evening event in the Students' Union will not be suitable for, or open to children.

To receive a refund you must cancel within 10 working days of the event (i.e. no later than 30 May) by contacting alumni@surrey.ac.uk. For cancellations received less than 10 days before the event, there will be no refund.

Refunds are not offered for non-attendance at an event. We cannot accept responsibility if weather or disruption to travel prevents you from attending an event.

Requests for refunds will be considered on an individual basis, and refunds are issued at the discretion of the Advancement Office. Special circumstances will be taken into consideration.

All refund requests may only be made by the person who made the original booking or by the credit/debit card holder.

If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, it will not be possible to reschedule to a new date this year. In the case of cancellation, you will be notified about refund options available to you.

The University of Surrey reserves the right to cancel an event due to low registrations which would make the event non-viable. In this instance a refund will be made.

For all tickets purchased the £5 donation to the Forever Surrey Fund, which is included in the price, will not be refunded.
