My first delivery is something I will always remember. I will never forget the feeling of my first birth and thinking how lucky I was to be in such a privileged position.

I have been offered a position in the Acute Medical Unit at Frimley Park Hospital which is a dream come true. I’m so happy to be able to continue my training and development in a hospital that I have enjoyed being part of.

The teaching staff are fabulous! My tutors have supported me both personally and academically to ensure I’m able to reach my full potential.

My placements have made me realise that even the smallest thing can make a difference to patients and their families. Never forget that kindness and compassion are fundamental.

My placements have been split between the South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, hospitals and the wider community. Having such a variety of placements has increased my confidence and knowledge, working with a wide range of clinicians in different environments." 

I get to practise what I’ve learnt in my lectures in the Clinical Simulation Centre, home to a fully-equipped ambulance, to build up my skills before going out on placement.
