Fee-paying study abroad

Students from higher education institutions outside the UK can come and study at the University of Surrey on a fee-paying basis for one or two semesters.

What you can study

Undergraduate study abroad students can choose modules (course units) from our undergraduate programmes, and master's-level students from our postgraduate programmes (please go to the course listings for the academic year when you will be at Surrey). The modules must be at an appropriate level for your background in the subject.

Most of our modules are worth 15 Surrey credits / 7.5 ECTS credits (equivalent to 3 USA credits). You will need to take 60 Surrey credits / 30 ECTS credits per semester (typically 4 modules).

Our Programme and Module Catalogue provides detailed descriptions of each degree programme and the modules that we offer.
