Parenting stress in parents of children with/without developmental coordination disorder

Overview

We know that parents of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism or attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, often report higher level of stress than other parents. However, very little research has investigated parenting stress in parents of children with DCD.

In this study, we will ask parents to complete some questionnaires about their parenting stress, social support, confidence in their role as parent and their child’s motor ability and behaviour.
