Generalized likelihood ratio test operational algorithm for ship detection in SAR imagery: Testing and benchmarking (Phase 2)

Start date

01 October 2018

End date

31 December 2018

Overview

The purpose of this project was to test the ship detector for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery developed during the phase 1 of the project over meaningful spaceborne datasets acquired by different sensors. The detector performance was evaluated against different working frequencies (C-, X- and S-band), look angles and sea state scenarios.
