With increased connectedness with colleagues on social media, the blurred line between life and work has become a new norm. Scant is known about how social media use affects employees. This project seeks to investigate the effect of social media bragging on employees at the workplace using a multiple-phase mixed-methods design. This project will provide important implications for individual employees, extended work relationship management in personal life and employee wellbeing in a connected social media era.
