About
Biography
I qualified from the Royal London medical school in 1992 and after house jobs and working in Australia I completed my GP training in 1997. I joined Wonersh surgery in 1997 and I have been there ever since, becoming senior partner in 2016. I have a special interest in the training and assessment of GP trainees. I was the Associate Dean for Assessment for KSS GP Deanery and I have led nationally on the assessments required for GP membership. This has included updating and developing Workplace Based Assessments and developing the Simulated Consultation Assessment. I obtained a distinction in my masters in Medical Education in 2008 and I was awarded the RCGP Presidents medal in 2023. The latter recognising an individuals contribution in achieving the RCGPs mission in encouraging, fostering and maintaining the highest possible standards in general medical practice.
