My research project
Using Marek's Disease Virus to understand the RNA world of alphaherpesvirusesCharacterising the ability of a set of viral proteins, conserved within alphaherpesvirus family, to alter the Marek's disease virus infected cell-transcriptome. The overall aim of this project is to use MDV to uncover the mechanism of these proteins using a comparative virology approach.
Joint studentship with the Elliott lab, Section of Virology (University of Surrey) and the Viral Oncogenesis group (The Pirbright Institute)
