My research project
B cell responses in protection against African swine fever virusAfrican swine fever is a devastating haemorrhagic disease of domestic pigs with a mortality rate of up to 100%, for which there is no current licensed vaccine. This project aims to build on the previous work that has shown an ASFV-specific antibody response is raised, and aims to investigate neutralisation and the role of antibodies in cytotoxicity to define the functions of the ASFV-specific antibody response.
