Dr Ragandeep Singh Sidhu
About
Biography
Dr. Ragandeep Singh Sidhu is Surrey Future FAUST Fellow in the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Surrey and is a member of the Nuclear Physics Group. His research interests lie in the field of Experimental Nuclear Astrophysics, with a primary focus on studying fundamental nuclear properties, such as nuclear masses and half-lives, as well as nuclear reactions occurring within stars. Dr. Sidhu is particularly intrigued by the complex processes involved in the synthesis of chemical elements across diverse stellar environments, ranging from quiescent stars like our Sun to dynamic events like novae, supernovae, and X-ray bursts.
