Biography
Dr Neha Cattra is a Principal Chartered Counselling Psychologist with leadership roles in education and training, with a remit for increasing access to trainings. A passionate educator, Neha inspires Trainee Clinical Psychologists through teaching, managing, and supervising doctoral level equality, diversity and inclusion research at The University of Surrey. Her post-doctoral BABCP accredited Masters in CBT at OCTC, allows her to bring her expertise to the development and evaluation of the Specialised CBT Pathway at Surrey. In her work with The Division of Counselling Psychology, she served a crucial role in the governance and development of Counselling Psychology at a national level. Neha has also presented at a number of conferences and works therapeutically and as a supervisor in her independent practice.

I am interested in researching equality, Diversity and Inclusion issues in relation to mental health. Predominantly relating to mostly race, ethnicity, culture and sexual orientation as well as the intersectionality of these experiences and identities.
I am a BABCP accredited CBT therapist.
I tend to research social justice themes using qualitative methods.

Teaching
I teach predominantly CBT to Trainee Clinical Psychologists and High Intensity CBT trainees.
