Martine Carter

A graduate in Biological Sciences from Manchester University, Martine undertook a variety of roles at the Universities of Bristol and Southampton, before joining Surrey in 2011 in the Department of Strategic Planning. Martine was appointed the Vice President for Strategy, Planning and Performance in 2020, and in 2023 the portfolio was expanded to Strategic Growth.    

Martine has Executive Board responsibility for strategic growth including strategy development, the strategic planning processes, monitoring of performance, strategic project delivery, UK recruitment and admissions.
