About
My research project
Modelling immuno-metabolic alterations to characterize disease pathogenesis and progression using single cell and spatial multi 'omic technologiesMy research interest lies in multiomics studies that integrate data from transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics toward new insights into complex biological systems. I apply state-of-the-art technologies like single-cell RNA sequencing, spatial RNA sequencing, MERFISH, and mass spectrometry toward the generation of high-resolution datasets. Advanced algorithms and machine learning methods have been applied to develop computational pipelines in Python, R, and Bash for processing and analyzing multiomics data. My ultimate goal is to find the disease-related biomarkers and metabolic pathways that might not be discovered using a single omics and give more holistic insight into the disease mechanism.
