About
Biography
Laurian Guimagang Azebaze holds a Master's degree (2017) and a Ph.D. (2023) in Mathematics applied to Cryptography from the Department of Mathematics, University of Yaoundé 1.
His research primarily focuses on improving the efficiency of cryptographic pairings on elliptic curves. Currently, he is dedicated to researching and developing algorithms to solve computational problems that are critical to the security of Public Key Cryptography (PKC), both in the present and for the future. Specifically, his work addresses the Discrete Logarithm Problem (DLP) in specialized families of finite fields and explores the security of the Legendre pseudo-random function, which is highly suitable for multi-party computation.
