Biography
Jo graduated from The University of Hertfordshire BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science in 2014 while working as a Student Paramedic for London Ambulance Service from 2012-2014. In 2014 she joined South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECAmb) as a Paramedic, and in 2019 completed her Specialist Paramedic in Urgent and Emergency Care training with a PGDip in Healthcare Practice from St Georges University London and The college of Paramedics Diploma in Primary and Urgent Care.
Jo worked for SECAmb as a Paramedic Practitioner, providing specialist care and clinical supervision until 2023, when she then joined the University of Surrey as a Lecturer. She continues her role as a Paramedic Practitioner part time in primary care.
