My research project
Do populist radical right parties influence the political positions of established parties on gender-related questions?Dilay holds degrees in Economics, International Relations, and Political Science, as well as an MSc in Political Science and Public Administration from METU (Middle East Technical University), Turkey. Before moving to the UK, she worked as an NGO officer and an academic assistant, gaining experience in both the civil society sector and academia. With a background in economics, political science, and cultural studies, her current project examines the influence of Populist Radical Right Parties (PRRPs) on gender-related issues in established parties, exploring how PRRPs shape mainstream political positions on gender equality, women’s rights, and LGBTQ+ issues. She also serves as a member of the FEPS Young Academic Network and the Far-Right Group.
