Biography
Emma graduated as a vet from the University of Glasgow with honours in 2009. Following a year in small animal general practice, she returned to the University of Glasgow to complete a rotating small animal internship. Emma worked in practice in the UK for 3 more years before moving to Australia. Here, she worked in small animal practice, developing a keen interest in educating and mentoring nursing students within the practice. On return to the UK Emma pursued a career in academia and joined the University of Surrey in October 2016. In November 2018 Emma began her current role as a Veterinary Clinical Teaching Fellow. Emma enjoys walking with her family and exploring the South of England countryside.
