Dr Antony Starza-Allen
About
Biography
Antony Starza-Allen is module convenor for Contract Law and also teaches Tort, Unjust Enrichment and Medical Law. His research interests lie in the socio-legal study of assisted reproductive technologies and he has written and published on actionable damage and reproductive autonomy in the fertility context.
Antony originally studied LLB Law at the LSE, went on to obtain an MA in Medical Law at Queen Mary, University of London, completed the Bar Professional Training Course at City University and was awarded a PhD in Law from the University of Kent. He was previously legal editor for BioNews (published by the Progress Educational Trust) and is a non-practising member of Lincoln’s Inn. Antony's doctoral research was on donor gamete matching in UK fertility clinics.
