About
Biography
Amy completed her training in Cognitive-Behavioural interventions in 2014-15 with Royal Holloway University of London. She has worked in NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression (formally IAPT) services since 2011, as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Clinical Lead. Amy is an experienced supervisor and has been supervising CBT therapists since 2017. She has also been trained to deliver CBT for clients with long-term health conditions.
Amy joined the University of Surrey in March 2021, and her primary roles are lecturing and supervising on the CBT programme. She continues to work part-time in a local NHS Talking Therapies service as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist seeing clients and supervising qualified therapists.
